 The history of Amnesia Haze is shrouded in mystery, as is often the case with legendary classic strains. Its origins are generally believed to lie on the American West Coast, where breeder David Paul Watson created it in the early 1990s by crossing different native strains from countries such as Thailand, Hawaii, Jamaica, and Afghanistan. For a time, Amnesia Haze remained relatively unknown and unpopular. Everything changed when it was introduced to Amsterdam. There, several hybrids were developed, but it was thanks to the collaboration of an American expat and owner of a fertilizer company named Zwiep, who crossed one of these strains with old-school Haze seeds, that the famous sativa known as Amnesia Haze was born. Initially available only as a clone, Amnesia Haze has become increasingly popular. That's why Zwiep collaborated with a Spanish cannabis seed bank to produce feminized and regular versions of this strain. Amnesia Haze features an eclectic mix of cannabis genetics, combining South Asian sativas with native Thai, Hawaiian, Jamaican, and Cambodian Haze strains, all with a recognizable Afghani twist, representing the best genetics from all corners of the globe.
